Agriculture: PAAS Show

The first ever Precision Aerial Agriculture Show (PAAS) is happening July 9th, and 10th. It's a show all about unmanned aerial vehicles otherwise known as a UAV or a drone.

These UAV's are the reason why hundreds of people from around the globe are participating in the PAAS, which show manager, Stu Ellis, hopes will become a yearly event. UAV technology is designed to enhance the farmers efficiency and productivity, which is why the show will have on-site experts to discuss the technology, the laws, and the risks. 

Francia: La UIISC Nº 1 adopta un sistema Bertin STSA

 

La UIISC (Unités d'Instruction et d'Intervention de la Sécurité Civile) Nº 1 de la Defensa Civil Francesa, con base en Nogent-le-Rotrou (suroeste de París) ha adoptado un sistema aereo de vigilancia STSA desarrollado por Bertin Technologies (Aix-en-Provence, Francia).

 

 

Como resultado, la base cuenta desde ahora con un sistema hecho a medida para llevar a cabo sus operaciones, desarrollado de manera conjunta con Bertin. El sistema STSA comprende dos UAVs HoverEye-EX dotados de sendas camaras día/noche, y una estación terrestre dotada de un sistema VigiSight de procesado de imágenes, que permite la detección y seguimiento de personas y objetos, en tiempo real.
